I plan on joining the National Guard. My recruiter said that I was just a little bit overweight. He said if I lose up to 10 pounds, I would meet the requirements. I’m 5’4″ and I have been walking for a few days now for 30 mins. Is there anything else I can do to make sure I lose the 10 pounds and how many calories should I eat a day? I usually don’t eat much anymore.

I do a three-day-a-week weight split and run for 30 minutes every day. In addition, I eat a balanced diet of prepared meals and stick to about 1,200 calories a day. But yet I am only maintaining my weight of 195ish. I haven’t lost a single pound in two months. Is there something I’m doing wrong? I’m small at 5 foot 4. I have been working to lose weight to join the service and have lost 50 pounds so far, but can’t break out of this slump. Any advice?
